This stonecast firepit is really easy to put together.
Might need 2 of you to lift it out of the box as it's quite heavy.
Assembly is simply undo the wound up gas pipe & regulator which arrives looped up underneath the firepit - the regulator is already attached.
Unscrew the igniter button and fit the supplied battery and screw the button back in place.
( top tip is to unwrap the battery as its covered in thin clear cellophane - I didnt at first & wondered why nothing happened. )
Unroll the gas pipe through the cut out in the base and attach the regulator to your gas cylinder.
Tip in the supplied lava rocks around the burner and follow the lighting procedure (basically turn the gas knob on while pressing it in and press the igniter button in), it lights really quickly.
The heat from it is good and the flame is uniform.
Not got an idea yet how long a bottle will last with this yet but it will certainly provide some good heat on cooler nights without the usual mess from a wood firepit.
Comes supplied both with some touch up paint if you knock it and also a nicely fitted rain cover for when it's not in use.

Being a Love Island fan my wife has wanted a gas fire pit for a long time but they are not cheap. If you don't already have a gas bottle then factor that into the cost as well (�80ish for 11kg) and that's if you can find one because there is a national shortage. I had to borrow one from a friend to test this item.
I'll warn you now, when you first take this out of the box you may look at it and wonder what you've done. It's just a silver grey resin cube with a gas ring on the top. We were not impressed. Once you add the lava rock it transforms it into; if not a thing of beauty, something much more presentable for your patio.
Attaching the gas bottle is simple and the only other thing you have to do is insert the provided battery into the ignition. Also included in the price is a very good cover to protect it from the elements when not in use.
Obviously this pit looks better in the dark and it puts out enough heat to keep you warm on a cool evening with the benefit of no smoke.
Last night I lit this and a traditional fire pit with dried olive wood for a family party. I have to say that whilst both were enjoyed everyone ended up sitting around the real fire with its scent and more attractive fire. I have included a picture for comparison.
The gas fire pit has the convenience of a gas barbecue and can be deployed easily at any time but lacks the romance of a real fire and costs four times as much to buy.

A really well designed and made patio gas fire pit that we are looking forward to spending summer and winter evenings sitting on the patio being warmed by the adjustable flame . It is nice and heavy and no fear of it blowing around in a gale it looks really good on our patio . It is grey stone effect and a nice square shape , comes fully assembled with a three meter gas hose , a gas regulator , decorative red lava rocks , clear instructions and a water proof cover to keep rain and leaves off . The adjustable flame can be adjusted to suit the current temperature . I cannot get a propane bottle supplied at the moment due to shortages but when I do I will update my review with more pics , in the meantime I am very pleased with the quality of it .( Update ) got the gas bottle and working brilliantly and enjoying using it .
