The first thing I want to say, is how beautiful the top is and I'm certain that the mosaic pieces are all hand laid. The mosaic pieces themselves have a lovely natural marble and each one is different.
Assembly on a scale of 1 (easy) to 10 (hard) I'd say it's a 5 but might need two people when lifting the top.
Just make sure you have plenty of room and save the bottom or top of the packaging to lay the top on while fitting the legs.
It does come with a a flat double ended spanner but I used 10mm socket and a pair of pin nose pliers, that really did make life a whole lot easier. Leave the bolts/nuts loose until you have the last nut on then go round and tighten them all.
Once assembled it really is sturdy and does make a statement where ever you put it.
The fire bowl fits perfectly in the center but I did find that the diameter of the BBQ grill and the mesh dome was smaller than I expected, this can result in them sitting at an angle if not placed perfectly central, this is the only reason why I have given 4 stars.
The mosaic center piece has a black cap in the middle, this is held in place by to bolts that screw in from underneath but not all the way, this is designed so you can pull on the cap, it will come up so you have a sort of handle to lift the center piece up enough to get you fingers underneath, neat little idea.
Being only 42cm high it will sit a lot lower than the standard patio chair, but this is apart of its charm, we are now looking for some outdoor beanbags to use as seating so we can sit around it in the evenings and chill out.
If not wanting to use it a fire pit, why not plant some flowers or something in the bowl instead, that would look lovely.
