Item was delivered promptly and is a sturdy item. My only complaint is the lid struts are faulty and do not support the lid. Could you please supply replacements?

This is a very attractive and sturdy garden storage chest. It feels really strong and can easily take the weight of a couple of people using it as a bench. It�s nice and roomy inside and can easily swallow up lots of tools or garden cushions, or any other odds and ends. The gas risers also mean it�s nice and easy to open and close, with a smooth movement.

It was however maddening at times to put together. The main pieces just push together, but certainly don�t �click� as the instruction manual suggests. You need a lot of force to drive the lugs into the their correct position and I resorted to a hammer to get them all in. It also jumped apart at the other end a few times when trying to get the two pieces connected. There�s also quite a lot of fiddly screwing bits and pieces together. The instruction manual is quite poor and it�s hard to see what the image shows, it�s like a photocopied image.

So it was a bit frustrating to put together, and a lot harder than some other similar items, but it was worth it. It looks really good, I think the feet set it off and make it look like dark stained wood. It blends into any garden setting and the plastic floor means it�s fairly weatherproof, though you could get water in the gaps probably. A little metal hook which you screw on enables a padlock to be used, which I�ll be using mainly to keep the lid down in high winds. Unlike some there�s no way to screw or bolt it to the ground for security.

I bought this for some extra garden storage. Not as big as I was expecting from the picture but fits hoe, outdoor brush etc. Sturdy and looks great! Easy to put together but would recommend not �snapping� parts in place until absolutely sure as hard to take apart again

Ordered this on 24th May and was delivered in 3 days. Just as described easy and a pleasure to assemble good instructions. Just what I needed for the size looks great.

I was looking for a sturdy and totally waterproof storage chest and time will tell but I�m totally happy with my purchase. The lid has metal rods you insert ( flat pack ) to make the structure solid and it�s waterproof.
