This is an excellent product for the money. Very sturdy, stable, and looks more expensive than it is. Very well packaged, all the parts are labelled for easy identification, all the bolts are also in separately labelled compartments, which makes it really easy to construct. Heavy-ish, but not so heavy that one person can't move it during construction. The shelves are very nice black tempered glass, with substantial weight to them. My biggest piece of equipment is a Marantz cd5005 CD player, which fits nicely on the shelf with room to spare. The shelves sit on bolts with two little rubber rings so the glass sits on the rubber to minimise vibrations. The bolts can be screwed in to a choice of 9 positions making the shelves very adaptable to individual requirements. The top and bottom shelves sit on adhesive rubber pads which you apply to the frame. Very stable. It is quite big when fully constructed. Not a problem for my purposes, but it will dominate a small room. Overall, delighted. I didn't pay the rrp of 199, but that wouldn't have seemed unreasonable. The current Amazon price of 119 is good value. If you're looking for a good stand but don't want to fork out crazy money, I'd definitely recommend this.
